Who’s behind midlands playbill?

Hi! I’m McKinley Porth, the founder of Midlands Playbill.

I’m a musical theatre performer and theatre lover from the South Carolina Midlands, and I created Midlands Playbill to bring the theatre community I love together in one place.

After growing up performing in the Midlands, I saw how many amazing shows, auditions, classes, theatres, and artists were here — but how difficult it could be to find everything in one place.

Midlands Playbill is my way of helping change that.

Through Midlands Playbill, I hope to highlight local talent, connect performers with opportunities, support theatres and educators, and make it easier for everyone to stay involved in the Midlands theatre community.

Thanks for being here and being part of the Playbill!
